More and more people today use vitamins and supplements as part of their daily routine – for energy, immunity, better sleep, more beautiful skin, or “just in case.” The shelves of pharmacies and online stores are full of products that promise quick results. But an important question arises: are all these supplements really necessary?
In practice, pharmacists often see two extremes: people who do not compensate for a clearly documented deficiency (e.g. vitamin D), and people who take too many medications at once, without a clear goal, and risk side effects or unnecessary costs.
